LO1 - Mood Board

Here is my mood board, i have noticed that between all the logos i looked at and put onto my mood board, all the fonts are very simple. Also a vast majority of logos for the clubs are placed on a black background as it as seen to stand more at night as it a bold colour and also cheap to produced. These logos are based around the male gender as the colours are quite dark and not as bright and colour.

LO1 - Propaganda Sheffield

Event Flyer

Propaganda Sheffield

purpose
The purpose of the Propaganda Sheffield campaign at the Plug is to promote the already very popular event over many different mediums. for example they have flyers, poster, social media promotion, business cards and many other means.

format
The format of the promotional items are, leaflets, flyers, posters, business cards, posters, t-shirts, hoodies.

content
the content of the flyers include the logo, day and date, the venue, a promotional advertisement for drinks, and also graphic images that are related to propaganda. All this information is included in the business cards, flyers, leaflets, posters but not on the hoodies and t-shirts, these just include the logo. a mainly sans serif font is used throughout the flyers, and also the house style is very bright and bold which leads to a successfully eye catching design. there is no white space throughout different promotional items and this is so that the person receiving the promotional item takes in all the information on the poster or flyer

style
the style of this flyer is very laid back and not strictly professional, whereas it fits with the company propaganda and is attractive to their target audience. within this piece of advertising, a sans serif font is used as the text is quite plain.

layout
the layout is very uniform, at the top their is the company logo, then there is the sort of mascot for the company, and then the day and venue. this is very stereotypical of this company and other promotional items.

target audience
the target audience is for students and young adults aged 18- 32, it has to be 18 or above because it is at a club and illegal for anyone younger to attend the event. these people would also be in the NRS grade, ABC1.

regulatory bodies
The Advertising Standards Authority is the UK’s independent regulator of advertising across all media. We apply the Advertising Codes, which are written by the Committees of Advertising Practice. Our work includes acting on complaints and proactively checking the media to take action against misleading, harmful or offensive advertisements.
